Amenorrhea
Amenorrhea is defined as delay of menstruation.
Primary amenorrhea: period has not started by age 16.
Secondary amenorrhea: period starts by the age of 16, but later it stops for more than 3 cycles or 6 months
Symptoms
Primary amenorrhea:
o Dry vagina
o Voice changes
o Headache
o Breast size changes
o Increased hair growth in a male pattern
Secondary amenorrhea:
o Decreased sex desire
o Paller
o Dry vagina

Prevention
Many cases of amenorrhea unfortunately cannot be prevented. But you can
- Maintain a healthy diet; celery seeds, whole grain, yoghurt, soy, Sesame seed, potatoes and Legumes should be included in your diet
- Take Supplements; Gamma linoleic acid, Linoleic acid, Zinc, Progesterone supplement, Flax seed extract, Iron, Vitamin B6, L-cartitine, Angelica root, Schisandra chinesis,Ginger, Astragalus, licorice, Motherwort, Chastetree berry, Black cohosh and Red clover
- do lots of exercise
- get enough rest
- avoid too much stress
- avoid smoking and substance abuse
Treatment
In general treatment is not necessary. If an underlying disorder is the cause of primary or secondary amenorrhea, the treatment will
- depend on the disorder
- Various types of hormones may be prescribed
Prognosis
- Prolonged amenorrhea can lead to infertility, osteoporosis and other conditions
- Amenorrhea caused by stress or illness will disappear when the causes are eliminated
- Amenorrhea caused by discontinuing birth control pills, normally disappear within six to eight weeks, sometimes longer

Leucorrhoea
Symptoms
- Discharge from the vagina that has a whitish color
- Weakness
- Pain in the calves and lumbar area
- Lethargy
- Constipation
- sensation of dragging in the abdomen
- Intense itching in the genital path
- Headaches that occur frequently
- Irritability
- disturbances of digestion
- Black patches under the eyes

Prevention
- take a bath twice per day
- clean from back to front after passing stool without touching your genitalia
- Clean your genitalia carefully after you have had sex
- Keep your genitalia clean and dry
- Stay away from unsafe sex
Treatment

- sunshine
- fresh air
- fast for 3-4 days drinking only fruit juice and lemon water
- daily bowel cleansing with a warm water enema

Osteoporosis
Symptoms
Early symptoms:
. Dull lower back pain or neck pain
Later symptoms:
. Sharp pains that may come on all of a sudden.
. Tenderness
. Fractures
Prevention
. Vitamin D
. Calcium
. Exercise
Treatment
- Take 1,000 mg calcium daily, for example by drinking milk and eating salmon
- Do aerobic exercises; walking, jogging, swimming or similar
- When fractures; Approach an orthopedic surgeon for fracture management and a physical and occupational therapist to doing exercise the safe way
- past menopausal patients can slow down the progression of the disease with estrogen replacement therapy
- another option is selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERMs)
- take 800-1,000 IU of vitamin D
- Bisphosphonates: (alendronate, risedronate, etidronate, and zoledronate)
- Other hormonal drugs like Calcitonin and Teriparatide
Prognosis
Although there is no cure for osteoporosis, it can be controlled with treatment, which slows down the progress of the disease.

Breast Cancer
Symptoms
- A thickening or lump in the breast that feels different from the tissue surrounding it
- Changes in shape or size of the breast
- changes to the breast skin like for example occurrence of dimples
- the breast skin is pitting like an orange skin or turns red
- the nipple becomes inverted
- discharge from the nipple containing blood
Prevention
- Limit your alcohol consume
- Maintain a normal weight
- Limit your fat intake
- Stay physically active

Breast Cancer is the second most lethal cancer in women. About 88% of women diagnosed with breast cancer will survive 10 years or more.

Cervical Cancer
Symptoms
- Abnormal bleeding, such as bleeding between ordinary periods, after vaginal douching, pelvic examination or sex
- Pain when urinating
- Pain in the Pelvic area
- Unusual or increased vaginal discharge
Prevention
- If it is proper for you, get the HPV vaccine
- Get a Pap smear ever so often. if it is abnormal, follow it up immediately
- If you are sexually active, you should limit the amount of sex partners and use a condom
- If you are a smoker, stop smoking
- Secondhand smoke should be avoided
Treatment
- Surgery for removing the uterus (hysterectomy)
- Radiation therapy

Prognosis
Generally, 71% of women with invasive cervical cancer survive for at least 5 years.
